Completion Status Issue with Chrome and Edge Browsers

A new release by both Chrome and Edge browsers has created an issue in SCORM tracking. This issue is common to all content tracking and all LMS systems. Users who complete our eLearning courses and standalone assessments may not get completion credit if using Chrome version 80+ and the latest version of Edge released in 2020.
Please use Firefox or Internet Explorer browsers until further notice. Alternatively you can make the following settings changes in your browser:

Chrome

  1. Open Chrome browser navigate to chrome://flags/#allow-sync-xhr-in-page-dismissal
  2. Change the drop-down selection from “Default” or “Disabled” to “Enabled”
Microsoft Edge
  1. Open Edge browser navigate to edge://flags/#allow-sync-xhr-in-page-dismissal
  2. Change the drop-down selection from “Default” or “Disabled” to “Enabled”
